From one-man company to ECKERLE Group

By founding the ECKERLE company in 1992, Franz Eckerle laid the foundation for today’s ECKERLE Group in his garage at home. Just two years after it was founded, the site for today’s Plant 1 was acquired and the first workshop was built there.

In the following years, the company continued to grow steadily and was renamed ECKERLE GmbH Formen und Werkzeugbau in 1995. By investing in the Max-Prinstner-Strasse venue, the production area was significantly expanded by 2002.
The steadily growing product portfolio was significantly expanded in 2004 by the founding of ECKERLE GmbH & Co. KG Spritz- und Laserschweisstechnik. The first production facility of Eckerle GmbH & Co. KG Spritz- und Laserschweißtechnik was located on the current site of Plant 2.

The ECKERLE Group continuously increased its production capacity in the years up to 2012. Several production and warehouses as well as offices were built for this purpose. With the concomitantly growing number of employees and the continuous expansion of the machinery fleet, the ECKERLE Group has always been able to react flexibly and adjust to the requirements of its growing customer base.

To this day, the ECKERLE Group can continue its successful course of the past few years and grow sustainably. In 2018, with the construction of offices and production halls, another investment was made in the Beilngries location. The production and storage capacities of Eckerle Spritz- und Laserschweißtechnik are thus at an absolutely top level.

The ECKERLE Group took a step into the future with the laying of the foundation for the construction of a new warehouse and a new production hall for injection and laser welding technology, which were completed in 2015. Here, connected to the building complex of Plant 1, new space was created for the expansion of the modern machinery fleet in the injection molding area and fast-reacting logistics.

On the 25th anniversary of his company, Franz Eckerle was able to look back on a true success story in 2017. By focusing on quality and constant further development, he has succeeded in building a company that is valued nationally and internationally as a reliable partner and supplier for the metal and plastics industry.

With the takeover of the company Jesch Industrielackierung GmbH & Co. KG in Weißenburg in Bavaria in June 2018, the ECKERLE Group sets new standards in 2018. The combination of the attractive Weißenburg location with excellent connections to the central Beilngries site and the addition of surface finishing with high-quality HG, decorative and soft lacquers make the ECKERLE Group your partner from the creation of tools to the delivery of ready-to-install plastic parts.

Today, Eckerle GmbH is a globally successful medium-sized company with more than 300 employees and an annual revenue of more than 50 million Euros. Our qualified employees and flexible management guarantee perfect products on a daily basis, absolute punctuality and thus the success of our customers.
